How password-protected pages work

In n8n, open the Webhook node and turn on Authentication — Basic, Header, or JWT.
Add a profile below with the same username/password, header name, or token.
In each page's editor, set its Credential profile to this one — or tick "Use for all webhook tiles" below to apply it everywhere at once.

The dashboard attaches it on the server when you open the page. Your browser, and any HTML you paste in, never see the secret.
